Privacy Policy
Last updated 4 November 2026
We keep this simple. We collect only what we need to cook, deliver and answer you, and we do not sell your information.
Who we are
Nitya Ahaar is a pure vegetarian restaurant and delivery kitchen at SBP City of Dreams, High Ground Road, Zirakpur, Punjab. In this policy, "we" and "us" mean Nitya Ahaar.
What we collect
This website has no accounts, forms or online payments. We collect information only when you contact us or place an order by phone or WhatsApp:
- your name and phone number;
- your delivery address, if you ask for delivery;
- what you order, and the time you want it;
- any allergy or dietary information you choose to share;
- the messages you send us on WhatsApp, Instagram or Facebook.
Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps basic technical logs, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you opened. We use them for security and to keep the site running.
How we use it
- to prepare, confirm and deliver your order;
- to contact you about your order, for example if we are running late;
- to answer your questions and handle complaints;
- to meet our legal, tax and food-safety obligations.
We do not use your phone number for marketing messages unless you ask us to.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent your information. We share it only with:
- our own delivery staff, who need your name, number and address to reach you;
- services we rely on to operate, such as WhatsApp (Meta), our website host and Google Fonts, which loads the typefaces on this site;
- authorities, when the law requires it.
Third-party platforms
Our Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp accounts are run by Meta, and they follow Meta's own privacy policies. When you message us there, Meta also receives your messages. This site links to those platforms but does not control them.
How long we keep it
We keep order details only as long as we need them to serve you, to handle any complaint and to meet legal and accounting requirements. After that we delete them or remove your personal details.
Your choices
You can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop contacting you. Call or message us on 81464 67814 and we will act on your request within a reasonable time, and no later than the law requires.
Children
Our website and ordering are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Security
We keep order information limited to the people who need it and use reasonable measures to protect it. No method of sending or storing information is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date above. If we start using analytics or advertising tools on this site, we will describe them here first.
